About

Thanks for visiting, this is my blog about my time living and working in Cambodia, I’ve been here longer than expected, it won my heart, I hope it wins yours too.

On first arrival I came with the encouragement of an old friend Dom, owner of Rikitikitavi a wonderful boutique guesthouse in Kampot. He wanted a relief manager so he could have a well deserved three month holiday. I wanted an adventure. The trip advisor reviews seemed to like me and it’s also where I fell in love with the country, the people and the wonderful Riki staff team.

Now I am working as an NGO & events photographer, running the newly formed Green Tours Cambodia and working for National Geographic traveler recommended Nathan Horton Photography. With bases in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap I have the good fortune to be able to explore this amazing country, making lasting friendships with the people and refining my own portfolio and artistic practice as part of my work. I’m a lucky girl.

It’s a varied life that takes me around the country photographing sunsets on tour at Angkor Watt, documenting communities in the poorest areas of Phnom Penh and working on images for an exhibition. The longer I stay the better my Khmer language skills and the deeper my relationship with and respect for the locals grows.
